We are committed to providing pain relief that lasts at a cost clients can afford.  Amanda Shinkle, Greg Lortz, Melissa Waldman, and Kathy Acheson combined have over 35 years of experience in multiple pain relief techniques.  Sheri Plocek provides radiation free breast exams using a digital infrared heat scan.

 

 Amanda (owner) started her business right here in Findlay in 2002 and specializes in helping those with various disabilities such as MS, cancer recovery, Parkinson's, and lymphedema with the use of Manual Lymph Drainage.  Manual Lymph Drainage can also provide great relief for sinus pain and headaches.  Amanda also has certification in the treatment of TMJ which provides relief of many ailments associated with clicking or locking of the jaw.  These ailments can include sinusitis, headaches, migraines, and neck pain. She is certified in kinesiotaping which is not only used for athletes in recovery but also anyone experiencing joint pain.

MPO would like to welcome Greg Lortz.  Greg specializes in sports therapy and deep tissue massage.  Many athletes from all over come to see him both before and after events.  He uses various techniques including stretching and cupping.  Greg is also certified in KT taping.

Melissa Waldman received her license in 2020 and is very excited to start her new career.  Melissa is a very talented massage therapist specializing in relaxation massage and is one of the few cranio-sacral therapists in Findlay.  She also just recently received her certification in myofascial and visceral manipulation which could aid in digestive issues and increases circulation overall to help the entire body.

Brand new to MPO and to Findlay we welcome Sheri Plocek.  Sheri is a thermographer from Toledo using digital infrared thermal imaging to detect pain and inflammation anywhere in the body!  In addition, this technology can be used to detect possible links to breast cancer without the use of radiation.

Kathy Acheson was Whirlpool's personal physical therapist who has decided to join us as an access bar therapist, dry needling specialist, and our very own physical therapist.  Access Bar Therapy is a great addition to our practice because it reaches beyond the muscles and taps into healing the consciousness by gently touching 32 points in the head to provide better mood, clarity, and focus.

Samantha Johnson is certified and attuned with the knowledge of the Reiki hands-on healing with life force energy of Usui/Tibetan Reiki.  Reiki has aided in helping to heal anything from life-threatening illnesses like MS and heart disease to ailments such as migraines, colds, and insomnia.  When you come in Samantha will assess where blockages are and use energy to clear, straighten and heal pathways, thus allowing healthy "ki" to flow.
